Queue #18 · Truck-kun universe

The Wandering Innkeeper

A burned-out salaryman dies (Truck-kun, naturally) and wakes as manager of a failing inn. No combat skills, no magic, no prophecy — just twenty years of corporate hospitality and a dream of one day owning something. Rent, hire, serve guests across four biomes, clear the Dream Tracker, buy the house. The goal isn’t saving the world. It’s being happy. That’s harder.

Core loop

Rent · hire · serve · buy

Arrive at each location renting, not owning. Survey rooms, hire imperfect staff from town, assign guests to preference-matched rooms (quiet, hearth, ground floor), balance weekly gold in a physical ledger UI. Reputation 0–100 unlocks landlord sale negotiation at 80+.

Dream Tracker — running gold total toward the final house price. Always visible. When it fills in Act 4: “You have enough.” No fanfare.

Every inn basement is discovery, not combat — bricked doors, cistern residents, old kami shrines, a previous manager’s study from another world.

Romance

Mira · Sena · Yuki

No stat wheels or heart icons. Three candidates across acts — barmaid Mira (Act 1), merchant Sena (Act 2), long-term guest Yuki (Act 3). You choose by whose story you paid attention to. Ending: house bought, someone knocks, fade on the knock — the Ma.

Act 4 room-design minigame: furnish the house with items earned through gameplay. Each piece is a memory of the journey.

Truck-kun feels bad about this one — unsigned tips under doors smell like exhaust.

Four acts

Millhaven → Al-Rashid → Frostpeak → Aldgate Grand

Act 1 Village: previous owner’s debts, baker grudge, locked basement. Act 2 Desert: merchant politics, smuggler guests. Act 3 Snow: isolation, guests who arrive in storms. Act 4 Castle Town: staff empire, rival innkeeper Cornelius Ashford, final purchase.

Universe: same Truck-kun as Truck-kun’s Moving Company; comedy isekai tone with MyTwoWives. itch.io Act 1 demo → Steam $4.99–$6.99 · 10–14 weeks part-time.
