The Last Cartographer
The last practicing cartographer in a world that forgot how to make maps. Explore fog-covered zones, reveal tiles as you walk, annotate landmarks, find the exit — then sell your completed chart to guilds and merchants who desperately need it. The danger is not monsters. It is getting lost.
No combat · No timers
Fog · annotate · grade · sell
Core loop
Explore · Map · Grade · Sell
Hub → choose a fog zone → walk to reveal tiles → auto-draw map → annotate shrines, ruins, exits → exit and receive a grade on Completeness (50 pts), Landmark Accuracy (30 pts), and Efficiency (20 pts).
S-grade maps earn ×3 gold. Spend gold on lanterns, Scholar’s Ink, True North compass, Memory Stone — then push into deeper tiers.
14 standard zones from Forgotten Plains through Hellscape, Warp Lands, and Gloom Hollows — plus secret Elven Kingdom and Snake God Temple via hidden exits.
Gimmicks escalate: paths that shift on backtrack, lantern-only caves, vines regrowing over revealed tiles, mirror rooms, ink that fades if you stand still.
Each sale has flavor: “Sold to Merchant Aldric — he wanted to avoid the swamp entirely.”

Anbernic first
RG35XX / RG40XXV targets: UI readable at 320×240 and 640×480, gamepad-only, 5–15 min sessions per zone, offline saves on exit. Steam expansion hooks: Workshop map export, daily seeded zones, Map Museum gallery.
Palette cleanser after Hollow Ascent — level design, not combat engines.

Cartographer shop ledger appears in A Quiet Post. Truck-kun delivery manifest references “a crate of maps from the old guild.” Elven Kingdom mural nods to Kakuriyo no Yūsha.
